AFLV West includes the National Cultural Greek Leadership Conference (NCGLC) and is the oldest regional fraternal conference. The conference has met regularly since its establishment
in 1948. NCGLC is specifically geared to provide a forum for multicultural fraternity/sorority members to network and dialogue on topics impacting cultural Greeks.
Each year, more than 700 participants from more than 50 campuses come together for an experience with programming at all levels of the fraternity/sorority experience.
The AFLV Operating System guides the design, execution, and intended outcomes for AFLV West. Ultimately, the association strives to accelerate progress in fraternity/sorority
communities through change-enabling experiences.
This year the conference will be February 26-March 1, 2026 (with an optional day at Disneyland, adding March 2). The conference is at the Hyatt Regency Orange County in Garden Grove, just 1 mile from Disneyland. All IFC, MSFC, NPHC and PHC Executive Board members
are expected to attend. This year we are pleased to be able to offer the experience to chapter leaders who would like to attend as well, in a limited capacity.
Here is what the schedule looks like:
Thursday: Travel to Orange County (we usually take an early morning flight). The conference begins in the evening.
Friday: Conference all day. Group dinner in the evening.
Saturday: Conference all day, with awards dinner in the evening.
Sunday: Conference closing session, followed by optional trip to Disneyland. Those who do not want to go, or are unable to go, to Disneyland may fly back on Sunday afternoon/evening.
Monday: Travel back to Eugene.
What's included: All expenses will be covered (to include travel, hotel (3-4 students per room), conference registration, and Disneyland admission). Each participant will receive a stipend to cover some meals, airport parking, bag check, etc. Three meals are
included with the conference registration, and two meals will be group meals covered by FSL. Meals and souvenirs at Disneyland will be on your own. All participants will also receive matching apparel so Oregon is well represented!
By submitting this form, you are agreeing to attend and participate in the conference in it's entirety. If you must cancel after reservations are made you will be responsible for any non-refundable expenses.
If you have questions, please contact Caitlin Roberts at crober12@uoregon.edu.
This is a really fun experience and a wonderful opportunity! Our goal is to have one of the largest delegations in attendance so we hope you can join us!
